Last week I had the luck of catching the Pan Am local to Boston and the NHN gravel train that services Boston Sand & Gravel. Here are vids, as well as a couple pix from a commuter train.

Chris, do you know the heritage of the caboose in the last picture?
I was able to snag a few more pictures today of commuter trains.

Alex,
In this older photo it is B&LE A333:

B&LE called it a "instrument car" from EJ&E, their #544

I remember that there was talk many, many months ago about the MT 50' gondola when it was released in FEC colors. If I recall correctly, that car was believed to be a MoW-type car, and there was concern that that type car would not stray far from FEC rails. Well, last Thursday (7/7/11), I went for a run on the walking path near the Newark, Delaware train station, and found the gon in the picture below.
This picture was taken at the former Chrysler yard off the Northeast Corridor, where cars are staged for coming or going from the NS's Delmarva Sub. I would love to know the destination and the reason this car was so far north.
Apologies for the quality of the picture, as it was taken with my cell phone, which I just happened to have with me while running, because I had just downloaded an app to track distance and speed.
