Finally got the Friday Havelock job in sun on July 1. Here it is passing the siding at Myrtle Station, Ontario:

I took this last fall. This particular Geep used to be a high-hood GP38AC for the Norfolk and Western, if I remember the facts correctly (I looked it up after I took the pic). I took the pic with the 3.0 megapixel camera on my cell phone

This is an old Erie RR bridge. It was on a branch from Niles to Lisbon, OH. Very soon a bike trail will come through so I took a pic just in case they replace the bridge.


And this was sitting on the tracks below. See the bridge abutment in the background.

It was originally a 3 foot gauge combine on the Lancaster Oxford & Southern, converted in 1915, then sold when the line closed a couple years later. I don't know the full extent of it's travels, but in the 1970s it was used on the Wolfeboro Railroad in New Hampshire, then in the 80s as a "trolley" on the former B&M industrial trackage in the city of Lowell.
