Hi guys! Almost have my GP finished up! After not modeling for 20 years I need some feedback. My eyes didnt get TOO stressed, but I am hoping the 3 foot rule will play in my favor here.

And an in progress shot with my new rock cars..

I like the fading on the barricade stripes. Looks right.

Thanks Ed! I wanted to get that part right. Seems to me the 38's got beat up more there than the 40's. Maybe because they never got repainted?

Yeah I agree that this is a gr8 model! The weathering and detailing look spot on.

The blue is a little lite, making the loco look more beat up than the prototype actually is, I saw this unit a few weeks ago.

B&O Royal Blue is what I was told to used by someone who paints allot of FEC units. Its an almost perfect match to what FEC and Atlas actually uses.

Actually sundowner that was the blue I started with! I looked at my earlier pictures and didnt like how dark the blue was, prototype or not, and decided to lighten it up some. I actually like it better. Sorry!

No apologies needed. I was just suggesting the color because the FEC blue is really dark when you see the in real life. The loco looks good though.
