Has anybody disassemble the older or newer F59PHIs?

I am starting a project to create a dual-mode F59DE (will have pantographs)

I want to repaint one into Pennsy colors (yes I know Athearn is doing a fantasy scheme but this will be a more modern look), but I am having problems taking out the interior glass.

Also whats the best way to re-install the rear guard rail as just trying to get one side in now is a pain in the $%&@!

Also is the newer run a split shell as well where the roof is separate piece?

No help with the F59PHI, but I can't wait to see your scheme!
