Thanks for the compliments...  They're much better than chocolate eggs, and won't kill me as fast!

To address Richie's idea, it's definitely an interesting one... and probably not too hard to pull off.  My plan is to get the fascia for this area built and painted then see where we are at that point.

As for the fan tracks going the other way, well, there were a bunch on the real thing...


But mine are cut short by the yard lead that cuts right by the near edge of the turntable pit. 


Looking at the tracks in the foreground, from left to right you've got:
1. The drill track, used by the switcher while building trains at the east end of the yard (this track has the gon and the flat with the tanks on it.)

2. The main access track from the main line into the yard complex. 

3. Ready Track one

4. Ready Track two

5. Fuel and sand track

6. EB Caboose track

7. Main lines.

Mostly.  I did have a leak in my roof caused by a tree limb that is still attached bashing on it; I found that when it rained this past Wednesday.  Otherwise, yes, I'm helping out my neighbors.

Been a while since I've posted anything. I redecked my 53' GSC flat
today with the laser cut wood that Bryan at ESM did as special run
just for us. While I was at it I put Z scale 905 couplers on it.

I'm also kit bashing the DPM Woods Furniture kit into a building flat. I'm going to
keep the name of Woods Furniture just because I live on Woods Drive!!!! I never

I finally got around to "finishing" the HO operating 2 bay hopper. I don't intend on using this car because it was more of a test, but it may find it's way into ballast service on a friends layout.

First warm weekend of the year so got outside and enjoyed it.  Soldered a few feeders and installed a couple of turnouts at Taylor earlier in the week.
