Welcome to the "institution" and I know you'll enjoy the inmates friendly banter. Don't see a lot of FEC modeled (at least up here in Ontario that is) so I'm looking forward to following your progress.

Welcome Gary. That shuttle fuel train is pretty unique, looks good.

Of interest, a FEC SD40-2 is working on the GEXR here in southern Ontario. Hope it enjoyed the snow on Sunday  ;)

The bridges are tres unique, as is the river/highway presentation and the NASA train rolling stock; always great to see something different, and well done. Kudos and welcome to the center ring.

At first I was thinking... Dang those colors are bright on the bridge... then I saw FEC...  Florida is way too not-dingy for my tastes!

I like that clearance car, too!

Thanks for the love, guys!
I discovered I really liked the FEC when I saw GP-40 #442 here in Bakersfield, Ca. So I set out to model my version of it. Hopefully the PDF of the track plan will come through. If you notice I just took the old Model Railroader BN project layout and made it fit my room and my ideas.
I really like Lance Mindhams FEC but mine is no way meant to be a copy cat of his. His modeling is off the hook.
Will post more as I can.

            Gary,welcome aboard.FEC,that is very cool. Like others have said I think your shuttle train cars are nicely done. I own a number of FEC locos in the old Red,Orange,Yellow paint scheme,E Unit passenger diesel's and GP Freight locos that I do occaisionally run on my layout.I think the contemporary FEC Scheme is quite nice and also the UP repaint FEC loco is well done.                                                     Nate Goodman (Nato).Salt Lake,Utah.

I'll add my welcome as well. I have a closet love of FEC both as an independent in the 1990s and its present Rail America scheme. I hope to do the full rocket motor train as well - got to see it coming out of Michaud more then once headed to KSC. Also have a NASA railroad connection - my uncles (who models the EBT in HOn3) was the NASA railroad super until about 8 years ago.

Bloody awesome.  I've been wondering how I'd build at least a couple of the booster containers.  Any suggestions?  I was considering a the N-Scale-Kits flats and building up from there.  Where did you get decals?  I know a million questions but I really like "odd-ball" equipment.  Now where is my Boeing flat...
