I note with sadness that they left off re-running one of the roads that garners the highest prices on ebay-- the pretty Demo version.
Even though it is technically incorrect, people still like it.

Ron, I spoke to M4D last year about a correct shell and cab for the GP60 Demo's but as the LL units were hard to come by, Mark didn't think it was worth proceeding. Perhaps with the Walthers re-release and the FVM GP60M as a chassis donor we might be able to convince M4D to reconsider.

Hope they put the correct trucks on this time.

FWIW it looks like the art work has the right trucks  ;)

Some of us care about slow speed operation, yes even obsess over it. Personally, I haven't met a three pole motor that I liked in terms of slow speed performance (as compared to common five polers such as the ones Atlas normally uses).

Hopefully Wally will stick with the nice 5 pole that they inherited from Lifelike (for the diesels anyway).

Speaking of trucks, the LL ones were a real POS IMO. They would move before the loco, and just not a quality engineered product for the pricepoint of the loco.

Hopefully it'll change, or I'll have to put the Atlas trucks in again.

Yeah, I don't have any GP60s, but I swapped Atlas trucks onto all of my LL/Wally GP18s.

I don't think the artwork means anything more than to show the paint schemes. But LL did make two styles of truck frames for their GP38-2, so it isn't a stretch to suppose Walthers will use the more correct one for the GP50.

Neither one is correct for a GP60, even omitting the frame mounted snubber, as GP60s are a single clasp truck with a leaf spring.  The closest truck available in N will be on the Athearn F59PHI, but it has the frame mounted snubbers on both sides, mounted in the wrong spot for a GP60 (GP60 have snubbers on one side of the unit only)... and I have no clue if the sideframe will even fit a Walthers truck.

If the forthcoming FVM GP60Ms and Bs have the correct trucks, those would be the sideframes to use... heck, the entire mechanism could probably be used

I'm hoping that FVM will follow the Ms and Bs with the standard cab versions..... if only for the free standing grabs and other details.
