Maybe we're all getting a little older, but come May MSB is doing Conrail in Color V1 1976-79.

I'd buy this for sure if I had the spare coin. All those Anthracite roads mixed up with PC and the others made for some interesting stuff!

When I can impress some kid trackside merely by having seen CR firsthand (and before the wide-nose era), I must be getting old and Big Blue is becoming a classic road. CR books will be popular... it's been almost 12 years since the party ended.

I'm not a Conrail fan, due to the massive trackage (and shipper) bloodletting that the company embarked on after 1980, but the time period covered by this book was simply amazing with the mix of power and what-not.

It's one of the few CR books I'd pick up.
