JnJ going out of business ?

Spookshow (Mark) reports on A board he got a snail mail flyer saying JnJ is going out of business and has a sale on..... pity if indeed this is the end of JnJ...wanted some of those Harriman roofs they officially don't make.....
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Ask JnJ about the roofs. Spookshow says he's doing a run for him. Sometimes, going out of business isn't permanent. JnJ is one of those companies who does it for the love of the hobby. He may find it hard to quit entirely. Then, there may be a serious reason he's leaving. Sad to lose one of the long-time supporters of N scale.

Hopefully Matt at FVM will fill the void left by the lack of the JNJ Wagon top caboose... That's been off the list for years now.

I got the same list from Troy.  It says the business is for sale.

Can't model worth a darn, but can research like an SOB.

Sad news indeed.

I have looked over there parts and its quite the list..

I better order those Horst air filters and spark arrestors before they are gone forever.

They must not be too concerned about it. I emailed a few weeks ago to check on the status of some products listed as unavailable (all were available) and they didn't mention going out of business at all. Look at the bright side, maybe someone will buy it who's more proactive. In the meantime, I think  I better buy some stuff.

Lets hope someone buys them out, and then offers a good webstore for their stuff, as lots of it is very nice.

Jeez, all those boxcar walks no longer available. This would fit TrainCat's product line pretty well. Hey Bob!...

Fortunately we still have Plano and GMM as well.
