Lol, it's impossible if you are modeling most roads not to have some foobiness at some level (unless you are a master scratchbuilder!)

Or you just don't show pictures of it  ;)

a$$hat's be damned...I give them far more ammunition than the occasional cool foobie !!!!!!!!!!!! :-\ ;D
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I've got some cars started that will be accurate to the prototype that MT is portraying.
I've had to fabricate difficult doors that I'll choose to cast rather than build more.
Here is a car from the earlier 2000-2849 series that I scratchbuilt using a small number of commercial parts.

Thanks guys, I had some decals custom made to go over and between the ribs.  They are painted but I have not applied the decals yet.  It took a while to get them and I moved on to other projects since.  I'll get back to them though.

Bryan,

The car is beautiful. Did you use commercially available car ends and, if so, who's? IM? Did you etch the doors?

Very very sweet.  Looking forward to seeing this one when it is complete.

Eric had samples at the show this weekend.  We had a minor tooling issue and decided to push it back a month.  Production is in full swing and they are painting the 4427's now.  They are scheduled for March release.  Sorry for the delay and no getting shots up.  I'm crazy busy right now, but will try and get something posted this week.

Thanks for the patience.

Cheers

Gozer the Traveler. He will come in one of the pre-chosen forms. During the rectification of the Vuldrini, the traveler came as a large and moving Torg! Then, during the third reconciliation of the last of the McKetrick supplicants, they chose a new form for him: that of a giant Slor!
