When you stumble across shots like this you just gotta get back inot the work shop and start scratching........

CN Horse Car: http://www.trainweb.org/oldtimetrains/photos/cnr_rolling/two.htm

CPR Snow Removal...or early Canadian Space Programs.... you choose: http://www.trainweb.org/oldtimetrains/photos/cpr_rolling/one.htm

I don't know how many of you have seen the "Canadian Old Time Trains" website but it's a treasure chest of odd ball stuff... especially if you like industrial switchers; they have 100's of pictures and stories... the site is worth a half an hour of surfing....
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Pud, That is pretty sweet.  Do it in brass, and you could make it operational!

Indeed.  Guess you really can't keep some men (Boys) from playing with fire.  DO you have a source for drawings?

Hey Pud, you could start with one of these for the front gizmo's.
http://cgi.ebay.com/Fujimoto-1-150-Heavy-Equipment-4A-Nichijo-Snow-FH001G-/330476147513?pt=Model_RR_Trains&hash=item4cf1e9d339
Then an old flat car and an old steam tender. Add a few bits of styrene and viola!!!!!
I know you can do it.  ;D
