The Canadian Pacific Express logo on the trailer looks elongated to me - now that could be the picture, or it could be they scaled it to a 45' trailer which, I think I am correct, would never have happened because that loco was used in the 50's and early 60's and the vast majority of the express trailers CPR had were either 40' or pups.....regardless, it just looks wrong in the picture. I'll have to see it "in person".

Cudo's for the effort however !
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

These MT boxcar loads always make me shake my head. How the heck are these supposed to have been loaded into the car when they're 75% large than the door?

And they kinda got this one wrong, the real car is blue, not IC grey: (And it's a different prototype, but hey)

Any prototype photos for this one?  I would search but I can't make out the reporting marks.  It's a great looking car (color difference aside).

I'd like to see what the resin part looks like "outside of the box" though, as it might be a practical load for other cars such as double-door boxcars, end-door boxcars, gondolas and flatcars.  And the MEC boxcar looks sharp, I might pick one up.

Here's 413027:

http://www.railcarphotos.com/PhotoDetails.php?PhotoID=9943

Same series, different paint scheme. CNIS 413028 had a unique experimental paint job.

Only 4 freight cars in CN's entire fleet are known to have been painted in CN's 1993-1995 scheme with the map of North America behind the CN "noodle".

Almost looks like they were working from b&w reference photos...

Nice example of an early PS-1 w/7' door, but did these cars get a new diagonal panel roof on the lease back?

I like the MEC boxcar, except for the "force-fed" load. It even fits my era. But, with the load the car gets bloated out to a MSRP of $26.80.

I guess the cars with loads thing works for MTL, but I hate not having a choice.

No sale.

As someone that knows nothing about these cars, and only from the proto photos here, the proto looks grey to me.

Just sayin'

The underframe pulls out from the bottom.  You may have to pry with a screwdriver.  ;)

Perhaps this was used as the "prototype"

Best wishes, Dave
