Just got back from Point of Rocks and CSX is tamping the switches there today.  Here's some of the equipment in use.

Also saw  a few trains.  First up the Eastbound Cap.

Westbound behind 5 engines.  Check out the SD50-2 still in Conrail paint.

Westbound Brunswick local off the Old Main Line with 2 car.

And finally an Eastbound with loaded gons with what looked like stone.

Not bad for only 3 hours.

Earlier today I posted a JG Corman photo and it appeared as an attachment. How do I post it to appear as a large photo initially as the others posted here today? Thanks!

Late to the party, as usual, but I wanted to add the following pictures.  My wife and I spent our honeymoon last week on a seven-day cruise to Port Canaveral, Florida and Nassau and Freeport in the Bahamas.

I took the first two pictures standing on the cruise ship, Carnival Pride, before we left the dock at the Port of Baltimore.  On the opposite side of I-95 from the port, as you can see, is a rail yard with what appears to be a steam locomotive tender residing therein.  Any one know what is going on with this Vandy tender?  It was still there when we returned last Sunday.

Zoomed in somewhat:

The following picture was taken from a moving tour bus at the Kennedy Space Center, where I caught these two flat cars:

Finally, although non-rail related, I just thought this picture I took at sunset in Nassau is cool, so here you go:

Enjoy,
Dave

Congrats Dave and welcome home.

Lee brought up that tender a while back. I think it belongs to the B&O Museum, but they might be out of room or something along those lines. Its not going anywhere.

Thanks, Brian!  I assume that it's protected among the chain-link fence, so hopefully, it will stay safe.
