Since I'm up past midnight might as well start.  Spent a few hours over at Riverdale, MD on Sunday and caught this empty coal train headed west:

Only my 2nd time I've tried a video with my camera.

Nice video.  The southbounds heading for the Capitol sub can really haul a$$ through there.  I live a half mile from that station and swing by every chance I get.  Yesterday, while walking the dogs, I saw a southbound coal train led by an SD70ACe, a fairly rare sighting there.

Caught these two last Sunday in Bradford, PA at the B&P yard.  The Caboose looks like its seen a number of Toms' weathering techniques.

A few more goodies from out west:
I'm not sure what the story is behind this one, looks like a Maersk job...

I was told this is the only surviving SP&S coach... at least I think that's what Rick said...  It was hard to hear over all my heavy breathing...

I want one of these for a garden gazebo.

This is the new diesel interurban the runs south and west from Portland.  Sort of a nouveau RDC.

Lee, those steam cabs would be great garden furniture!  What a neat idea!  Wonder if there are any lying around on the east coast.
