HO scale couplers

I got a Bachmann 45T center cab and I went to put #58 couplers on it. They stick out too far and the centering spring really doesn't fit.

Does KD make a scale short shank coupler?

try 153 (short shank), 158 (medium shank), or 156 (long shank) which are #58s with whisker springs instead of the old bronze centring spring.

The whisker springs are great, especially for coupler boxes that are a tad tight for the old formed bronze spring plate.
