modified roofs with air conditioning features ;D

Looking good from that distance.

Hopefully, the 12-1 will not be released in N&W for Chilhowie, Galax, Lowry, Sunstar Rose, Vulcan, or Cuttyhunk.

There goes my wallet.  As for paired windows, they are parlor cars not coaches and from the photos I've seen most had paired windors.

Body-mounted couplers!  Good start.  Do we have any idea of roadnames on thes cars?

Like it a lot. Bring on the B&O and C&O cars (even though they might not be right!).

Pity the 28-1 doesn't look like it's an A/C version...oh well; will have to play switch the roofs.....

Looking good.

Those look really, really, nice.

Kudos Joe!

Like Lee, I am eagerly awaiting shorter distance stock (and stuff that'd be appropriate for tourist RRs). I don't know if you've ever thought about it Joe, but doing the ex DL&W (or was it Erie) Boonton Line cars that found their way to almost every tourist road east of the Mississippi River would probably be quite the money maker.

I know I'd be in for a few to paint up for the Stewartstown.

They often wore bring paint schemes too:

I am with Lee - I would be down right giddy over single window coaches as both CNR and CPR HW coaches were mainly single window affairs. So too were their parlor cars.....

Think the parlor shows the side of the roof without the A/C vents.  Probably is the same roof as on the sleepers just showing the other side.

I would like to see a paired window coach but since the RR has done a paired window, you can have the single window coaches first. Any coach and a full bagage are my two most needed cars. We need to make those commuter mail trains that ran from town to town. I have a schedule for our town from 1949. There were roughly 40 passenger trains that passed by each day, only 4 of them were long distance trains that would have included primarily sleepers. Most were commuter traffic taking people to and from Cincinnati and the outlying area's.

I've posted this before but this is my idea of the average passenger train.....

The other car I would like to see is a solarium instead of a standard observation. We really don't need another car with an observation deck as there are tons of the RR and Model power floating around.

I know very little about micro trains, have they made a combine, coach, or baggage car at all? Or dothey plan to? On my layout, a "passenger train" is pretty much a combine hitched to the end of the day's local.

These do look good, and im thrilled the couplers are body mounted!
Just say no to dummy couplers.

Me too.....these are a pain in the observation end to build................

With a base model solarium you could bash stuff like this easier than what I went though.
