I'm weeping openly at my desk...  What AMAZING images.  One thought occurred to me... with snow on the ground it's less obvious that there's a hikey bikey trail ruining the vistas.

Another thought occurred to me... Helmstetter's barn needs the cupola.  Where do I send a check?

A third thought occurred to me... round heralds on the hoppers and caboose... I mean, really... it's steam era, right?

But otherwise, WHOA...  Magnificent work of art.

And for those who thought the stills were breathtaking, here are the images in motion...

Some beautiful shots there.

A sad note related to the WMSR.  Longtime conductor Richard Markle passed at the age of 82 on New Years Day.  He worked for the RR for 17 years and had been a conductor for 50 years, including working for the B&O.
