I've introduced the 1960-2010 N Scale Golden Anniversary over at the Trains Forum.

Let's blow them away with some photos.

Okay, I added a few.

Gotta say, though, the N scale population over there seems to have significantly dwindled.

Hopefully the current MR N scale project layout may help to reverse that trend.  We (N scale) should still have a presence over at MR forums in spite of its problems so new hobbyists are enlightened to its existence.  It would be very easy to convince yourself over there that there is only HO...  and a few crazies working in "fringe scales" (including N).

That's why I try to stop by there once in awhile.  The newbies that drift in over there that have N scale questions need to get a little positive reinforcement now and then.  Occasionally I'll stumble into one that shows some promise, and PM an invitation to check out the 'wire...  I seem to remember a certain Air Force officer that we brought in from the cold... ;D

I made a little contribution for you, Lee.  :)  Interestingly, that's only my second post over there.  I don't even remember my first!

I'd say we have the deck adequately stacked.  It'll be interesting to see if the edioters at MR take note of the anniversary in print...

I , too, violated the one image rule. I put two, of nineteenth century equipment, just so that the good people at HO Scale Model Railroader kin unnerstenn that, Yup, yup, yup, you can even make decent equipment that small .

Grand idea for a topic over there, Lee.  I am also delighted to see that more than one poster has put up steam.

Oh, and a correction to the sentence that concluded your second post on the Kalmbach site: it is Thank you for your consideration and support.

Didn't even know they had a forum over there.  My post count is now 1.

It's easily the most vacuous forum out there.  It's gotten a little better with some more assertive moderation, but it's still very much an "entry level" venue.

As I said, I just try to be on the look out for quality modelers who might want to find something a little more focused.

Good to see we can stack the deck with some real 'ringers'!...
