buy one of each, like a real collector should.  Who could need more than one of a particular roadname?  I will be surprised if they don't have rapidos standard...

Any chance that the one number just reflects a general lack of interest in pulpwood modeling? :-\

They may remember how well or not their lumber series stuff sold and figured that most of us would just run a few in through trains.  I doubt that many modelers will snap these up  like unit trains of coal or grain.

That said, I suppose two numbers of each would probably spur a few sales for the few guys who do run long pulpwood only trains.

Try not to read that much into it. Walthers only releases the single car in one number. Additional numbers are in 2/3/4/etc.-packs when those are offered.

That's the same in HO too... (note that the original link shows both the N and HO cars)

I agree, these are easy to renumber - also the CSXT cars that I've seen are black anyway.

CSXT decals are getting churned out by Microscale now, BTW...

At least they are doing knuckle coupler's this time!! They have been doing single numbers for some of their re-runs lately. Same with the HO wood chips too.

CSX did have quite a few BCR Pulpwoods down here.

As far as revenue service is concerned; if they are, they have been hiding from me for the last few years. Always used to seem them thru here, my in-laws in LaGrange, Georgia and surrounding boonie burbs. The pulpwood industry has gone to the car-length racks to save the labor of cutting up the logs into smaller pieces last Seico's I saw were backstoppeing the end of track in Lagrange with trees growing thru them and are gone as of last year.
