I love John's work...especially the concrete. If you can ever find pictures of
a modern, concrete highway overpass that he did...it's truly amazing. I
can't remember where I saw it but I think it was MTW. One of the best!!

Probably someone lost a job and/or figured the forum could be a money maker for them... I doubt that it was meant to limit participation.  The main group there, since inception, has been trying to break free as the next Mellow-Mike, coming up with new techniques just to have new techniques, trying to sell their work for big money, etc.  Don't know if it's still like that, but they do say on the home page that if you join you can freely advertise your ebay sales, so I'm guessing it hasn't changed much.

There is way too much free content out there .. so I generally don't frequnt sites that charge .. besides, if you've seen my weathering, its pretty bad

Anyway, back to John's modeling:

Thats what I was looking for. More shots of the other platforms he did for that kit as well. His Pella building was the inspiration for my Walthers Pella that I built.
