Yesterday at Alexandria, VA.  Four trains in 15 minutes.

Smart arse.  Didn't even see the bus.  I admit only photos of 3 trains.  The 4th was heading north when I pulled in.  CSX stack train.  You see one you see em all, so wasn't worth running to get a photo.

My sister lives in Arlington, so I usually get a work out walking 3 miles from her apartment to East Potomac Park when I visit. I must admit, its a great location, being able to sit on the bench in the shade and read a book 50ft from the mainline.

Alexandria used to be one of my favorite photopgraphy spots.  Could sit in the grass City lot during lunch and just watch the trains go by.

I live across the river in MD about 20 min drive.  Was in Alexandria yesterday but didn't shoot any photos.  Did see am Amtrk train in the station and a CSX freight running alongside.  Great location to be as I can get to some good spots in VA or MD in less than an hour.
