Actually there were veiled hints many months ago as to the identity of the project that is following the XIH and preceding the F-9. But, for various reasons (and at the risk of being accused of playing "inside baseball"), I've decided to keep things close to the vest for at least the next nine months until I'm certain the project will proceed on schedule. Although I won't confirm or deny any guesses put forth, I'll leave it to TheRailWire community to speculate on what it may be for now.
To be honest, I'm just trying to get through the XIH project. Since I do my own model design, it basically takes about two years to go from beginning research to the first release. The F-9 was designed simultaneously with the XIH, but is on hold until 2012 because of costs. So, the "good" news is that I'm about 18 months into the unannounced 2011 project. I finished the digital model earlier this month - it's fully designed, just waiting for capital to free up in the third quarter of 2010 to proceed.
