actually, Brian, i can meet you at Lowe's at Quarterfield - they open at 6am - i don't need to be on the road to Etter's until 8am - think we can do it that quick?
Sheee it. For sub roadbed, get the clown at the Depot to cut it into four 2x4 panels. You can stick that in the back seat of the car, and finesse whatever pieces you need out of that.
You COULD even use the money saved to pay Home Depot or Lowe's to deliver the plywood to your home.

They charge absurd delivery fees, and you need to be around when it's delivered--which may or may not be a convenient time, since the time is more or less their choosing. Much better to rent their truck. If the round trip can be made inside of an hour, it's only $20, which is really hard to beat. I'm really thankful for this service, as I had to replace a burst water heater a few years back, and it was the only viable option to get a new water heater home in a timely manner, and for a very reasonable fee.
As I suggested last week in another thread, have Home Depot or Lowe's rip that plywood into 2' x 8' sections.
That and it's two weeks before a relatively major holiday...I'm booked solid into January at this point.
