MT RPO Question

Got an MT Hew Haven RPO in the mail today and love it.  I'd like to paint/weather the roof but its removal mystifies me.  Has anyone removed the roof?  What's the secret?  Thanks.

It's a 'pry and lift' as the glass and roof are one piece that slide down into the body.  There are four small tabs on each side that hold it in place.
