I never knew N Scale Kits had these in brass . I have a slew of the white metal ones , but I was unaware of these . Wow , this is perfect for my era .

Those look badass.  They'd look mighty good hanging around an auto reload. 

Dare I back date operations to 1964, just so I can have some?

More to that than meets the eye but I agree . Plastic batten board siding (wood) be my choice for the sides . It's the innards and tender under belly where the detail would be a free art form .
