MOdeling the Pacific Northwest Hill Lines just got easier

It BNSF opened the archives and there is now an electronic archive featuring BN, GN, NP, & SP&S drawings, plats, and photos now available. A great resource for those who model the BN, GN, NP, &/or SP&S, and even for those who want to explore what a roundhouse, car shop, modern station, etc. was designed like. Looks like Bill Sornsin is heavily involved in this. When I visited his layout a few years ago, he showed me some of the archive material he collected. It was amazing. Glad to see he is putting it on line. I wonder if he is funding the process?

Heath,

There will be an article on GN ops in the area during the mid sixties coming out soon, most likely in the next issue of the goat. I think the WO  (Wenatchee-Oroville) was covered in this quarter and bumped the Wenatchee article back- don't know for sure as mine hasn't arrived yet. The draft was pretty detailed and I think it will be well received.

If N scale had good SD40-2s, C30-7s, U30Cs, SD45s, SD40s, and SW10s; I'd be in N scale.
