I have one CR verson of this car and it is a very nice model. The one problem I have it is that it'll be a real shame when I have to dent and weather it to make it look used... pity to defile such a sweet car.

Bryan,

Definitely not.  Lehigh acquired 50 of the cars from Pennsy in 1934, but they were phased out and supplemented by first-hand purchases of 65' mill gons by the 1950s.  Also, the deco scheme is the early lettering style.  These are most certainly steam-era models ... although I'm going to stretch it and include one on my own personal 1950s New Haven freight equipment roster.

So when is ESM releasing those newer 65' mill gons in LV?

Curious though, this is the same car as the PRR/PC/CR release, right? Why would those cars last into CR's roster and LV's were discarded? I'm not doubting your info, just curious why the difference in roads' logic.

I just double-checked, in the only two ORERs I have from the time period.  My initial statement was incorrect.  All 50 cars were still on the roster in 1958, but all were off the roster by 1968.

Delivery update - the shipment is on the water and scheduled to arrive 12/28.  The cars should be at the dealers the first week of January.

Also definitely included in this shipment will be extra drop ends and brakewheel/fulcrums, which will be available separately as parts direct-only from ESM.  Extra end yokes also may be in the shipment, not sure of that.  If they are, they will be included with the drop ends as parts.  I am uncertain on the status of the remaining G26 components.
