Yes Great Northern Rostered NO HUDSONS. the Con Cor GN S2 4-8-4 locomotive could be converted into one of their 4-8-2 locos by removing the pony truck and replacing with two wheel front truck. These locos looked otherwise similar. Con Cor did alot of Foobies for the hudson, Union Pacific was another road that never had em yet they used this loco in their otherwise nice Overland Limited LTD. Edition train set. They offered both a bullet nose and shovel nose version,then they did the nice yellow and brown UP Fourty Niner streamlined loco scheme found only on a Pacific and a 4-8-2 loco on the bullet nose loco. Wrongo. UP locos were upside down bathtub shrouds,closer to the shovel nose loco. I could have lived with that making it into a pacific by changing the trailing truck. Con Cor did a nice beautiful gunmetal gray paint scheme for the cars used on this train on their smoothside cars. Nate Goodman (Nato).
