New Heavyweight Question for Micro-Trains

So, I got my RPO order in process and cant wait to receive the package.

So my questions are:

Are we going to see releases of future RPO's while the next body styles come out?

How soon until the next body style comes out?

How about undecs?

New road names in RPO's expected any time soon (CBQ maybe)

Now I realize that my asking these questions aren't going to provide answers that your not ready to announce.  I guess I am just showing my excitement for this type of product line and the willingness to buy more when it is available!  However any information would be greatly appreciated!

I had heard that somewhere before.  But thanks.  When I know what I want is coming I like to use my time to model those things that aren't likely.  Only so many minutes per day for modeling and I like to spend them wisely.  For example that is why I have an E5A and E5B set vs renumbering other Kato E8/9s.

Brian, nobody but Micro-Trains knows what's next in their heavyweights, but (straight from the guy's at MT), they will producing a complete line of heavyweight cars, with their new trucks and 36" wheels. A really good question is (looking at the Circus train "runner pack") where are they going to get those modern passenger cars? Are they going into the "modern" passenger car business also? And Wheels of Time is working on heavyweight passenger cars too! If I can get a little more tractive effort from my Spectrum Heavy Mountain, I see WWII troop trains in my future! A freind/customer and I are working on the Heavy Mountains for DCC and he wants sound. The drill press and some tungsten shot (for weighting golf clubs) will some be attacking the Mountain's chassis, and a "driver equalization" and possible traction tire are in it's future.

My Heavy Mountain handles a troop train of 15 troop sleepers, 6 boxcars, a tank, and 8 flats on Ntrak as is. No grades of course but I'm not complaining on it's performance. BTW - The loco comes with traction tires out of the box.

Tony, mine doesn't pull nearly as well, and Al and I were considering an additional traction tire. Al and I are 99% certain not all of my drivers (or his two) are equally touching the rails, from looking with a 10X loupe, and the dentist's "cabon paper" trick. Al is a supurb Bachmann steam "tweaker". A few thousandths of an inch here and there can make a world of difference in a steamer's performance. He has a B-mann (old-run) 4-8-4 that runs like a Swiss watch and will pull 60 mixed MT freight cars all day, and will creep smoothly about 1 tie a second or a bit slower. It's like geting a real 400HP from a GM 350 small-block. Very careful machine shop work and improved parts, and attention to detail, things B-mann didn't do. The extra weight sure won't hurt!

We will be releasing as many as possible over the next couple of months. CB&Q is in the mix but I don't have an exact date. 

The next series will be released one after another...not in this order but a pair of sleepers and a Chair/Coach.  I'm researching observation cars, diners and others now.  These should be released in the Spring, I have first shots of some of the cars and am trying to get permission to show them here.  I suspect folks going to Chicago this month will see them in person.

Joe, I may have met you and not remember. I "store sit" a couple of days a week for Richard at Challenger-N-Scale in Tulsa. I had been told about the new cars, but sworn to secrecy! Really, I try not to abuse advance information on products from anyone, unless they tell me it's OK, or they even want the word spread.
It's rather plain to me that Micro-Trains is going to "milk" the Circus Trains like a cow for people "into" them. I figure you can easily work them for 3 years. Double that if you do the "Blue" trainset. Still wonder about the smooth-side cars with HW trucks, though.
