While the Rapido cars are very nice, I have recived quite a few, there are issues with some cars. Early releases would not stay coupled due to a moulding problem with the coupler boxes. Rapido is going to send out replacements, but you have to send an SAE to either a Canadian address or one in States CT to be exact requesting number needed. Unfortunately I need 10 pairs, now the two recient cars I recievd in a Chuck Pack in 1954 CN Scheme have the problem corrected. My SP coach which I ran at a train show on well ballested code 55 ME & Atlas track hopped and jumped around both at the rear of a train and coupled between other cars. All my other Rapido cars do not suffer from this problem I have e mailed Rapido about this. At the show I had to run cars with the coupler problems between other Kato cars so they would stay coupled. These cars were Via Rail cars. If Walthers ever does a PS diner to match their up and coming releases, they could do the Scarlet Letterboard Scheme for SP and it would be a nice match. SP only owned 2 sleepers with Duplex Rooms and they were pre war cars from the Cities train fleet, but I have to agree the new Rapido Sleeper even in SP ,or UP would look great. Nate Goodman (Nato).
