As it is, the building will be in Lewistown with a siding coming off the main at Spruce Creek ( ) so it needn't be exact.

Eh, put a different name on each side of the building to represent different industries in Lewistown and Spruce Creek.  Trees and foliage can hide the sin.

My Silhouette is hooked up--and working--but like Zox I too am up to my sphincter in alligators... and considering my proficiency with said Silhouette (or lack thereof), I could probably bash a reasonable likeness of it faster.

DKS, I'm curious as to what you'd use as bash fodder.  It's a pretty unique building.  It looked like crap in the 50s, but it was restored in the 80s.  I want to do the restored version in spite of the anachronism.

Edit: Does anyone have any images of the back of the station? All I can find online are the front and ends. I think I have a candidate for bashing an approximation of this thing.

It's all straight lines and right angles!  How hard can it be!?!

Get some Plastruct brick sheet, a couple of sharp #11 blades, and one of those handy NZT steel scale rulers...  You'll have it whipped up in no time.



If I can dig this out of the scrap drawer, surely you can build Lewistown...

It's the sheer number of straight lines and right angles. Less than yours, to be sure, but more than I have the time to do right now. I've got a lead on some kit parts that were practically made for this station. I'd build it in an afternoon, but I don't know what the back of the station looks like. If I could catch a glimpse of it, I'd be off an running.

I'd also be curious if Dave wants to include that little detached building off the side of one end--it's easy enough to make, but it results in an awkward footprint. Any further input is most welcome.

Thank you sir. Lee did kind of oversimplify things just a tad. Plus, it's not all right angles--look at the canopy. In this case, if I can see the back of the station, I can wrap the whole thing up in a flash, since I found some brick walls that are very close to the real deal. It wouldn't be a brick-for-brick rendition, but it ought to be close enough for people to recognize. The hardest part will be that asymmetrical roof over the platform.

It's brick. Laser time would be astronomical. Plus wood isn't the best medium for brick.
