I got mine today. I dig how they are closer couple than the my Buford cars.
I believe the Bluford cars may be more correct, as these cars have cushion underframes, with extended couplers:

(this is not a thrall though)
I just picked 3 N&Ws this morn (2 blues and a black).
The couplers do hang down a little (similar to other cars equiped with this truck mounted coupler).
They come with MT low pro wheel sets.
WARNING - screws for body mounting couplers are loose in the box (one fell out when I was opening one of the boxes).
Out of the box, overall height is in line with the Blufords.
Detail levels are high, application of details is good but sometimes a tiny bit off.
Paint quality is a bit off on the blues, with uneven coverage (slight but noticeable to my eye). The coverage on the black one is good. Pad printing not as good as Blufords, with two being very good and one of the blues not as "crisp".
The lettering is very shiney.
A bit of weathering will "cure" the shine for me.
Overall I am happy with them, they have that low slung look compared to some of the "high water" models we've been provided to us in the past.
