The trailers they model are 1960's models unfortunately. You can retrofit with CMW Aerovan's but the bad news is you have to spend money on the car and trailer to toss the trailer.
If you're just looking at the paint, the M&St.L is good from '56 (when they started the red/white) to '60 (when they were taken over by the CNW).Jason
Interestingly, I could use the trailers, but not the flats ! What roadnames do you like ? pm me - I've got these flats to get sell or trade !ps - I think that 40 foot trailers became legal in 1958 ........... maybe some one can verify....
FWIW, my M&StL version had the rails correctly installed, but if you want to have a conversation about what's wrong with these cars.... Jason
Geez , look at this shot , the rub rails are on the wrong side of the stakes . The tires would knock into the stakes as they rolled . Has anybody seen this setup on the prototype ? Has anybody seen rub rails on both sides of the stakes . Are the rub rails removable , and could it just be put on by an uninformed bloke ?
I haven't taken the time to see what hitch the model represents, but anything better than the MT version is welcome.
