If you are having problems with the .mov file that Walthers is trying to use on their website, the video is now on YouTube.

My favorite quote of all time:

"There is big news for N scale modelers with the latest run of 5-unit articulated well cars.." :P :-X :-\

This is after I sit through new paint schemes on their H12-44 and a new body style on the MR rib side caboose.
I know I shouldn't expect anything different, but this is like having it rubbed in your face.

Best wishes, Dave

If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

Oh goody, Walthers is gonna reach out to me using social media  ::) ::) ::). Fat chance.

I didn't catch it, but was there a disclaimer at the start that said "all models are HO unless otherwise indicated"?

Sounded like Bob Gallegos' voice on the video. He is a confirmed N Scaler.

Unfortunaely he holds little if any influence with them. Walthers is becoming a drag on the further growth of the N scale market. Maybe it's time to consider selling on the scale's product line if they are not going to carry it forward with any plan to it.

Their new GP38-2 in N is pretty nice, and their structures in N kick a lot of a$$.  I wish they'd offer their full line of HO structures in N, but what they do offer is suh-weeeeet.

Agreed.  I wish the announcement had included some "we're bringing X from our HO structures line to N."  Oh well, hopefully one day.

I think they need a Walthers version of Joe from MT to come play with us. Then they'll see what the market potential is and get some good ideas as to where to take their N scale product line. I know, fat chance on that, as they are secured away in their HO scale white tower in Milwaukee.

Mr Walthers looking down on those pesky N scalers:

To be fair, Walthers is a "cornerstone" in N scale structures (no pun intented!) and they have announced another passenger car:

Whah...? Oh, sorry, I must have fallen asleep somewhere between the 50th and 60th HO item in that video.

If I was a dog I'd be PO'ed... they didn't even throw us a bone on that one. Be nice if they'd update and re-run those 4400 or so cuft covered hoppers in N. Aww, who cares... I've got enough on the want list annyways.
