St Denis, less than an hour ago.
Train coming off the old main line and after a closer look:
The Spirit of Cincinnati
Followed by the normal MARC trains:
Three units on that one.
As a PRR fan I wish I had some to post but unfortunately I don't. 3rd Rail we will miss you and your great photos.

For Gregg... PRR as he loved it, before the death spiral to Penn Central... When stations were open and well-kept, track weedless, and cabins painted brightly.
I took this in New Freedom, PA in May.
This is turning into another fitting tribute for Gregg; he is a piece of Pennsy history.

Another photo that's crawled out of the nooks & crannies:
Taken in Ceredo, WV in July of '79 with my infamous pocket cam that cut off portions of my
subjects. I was really surprised to find a manned crossing shanty there, especially on the
Chessie main line into Huntington. Looking at this, I wondered if the old guy spent nights
pondering why the kid in the back seat of the red '70 T-Bird with a bad muffler was trying to
take a picture of him....

Richie,
The tankcar and Plymouth before they were painted
They are both 1:1 standard gauge and now stand at the entrance to LTEX.
