The REAL April Fool's announcement is the pricing on those TLT's newsprint cars over at BLW. (No criticism of BLW here, as they are just passing along the price at a discount).

I mean really - is TLT insane?  $179 for six boxcars???

Thats a mucker , or better described as a de-mucker to remove blasted away wall-face in a mine shaft . Or am I wrong ? It does look too large for an N scale mine to me , but I could be wrong .

If you're like me, you'll just smile and write a cheque. I appreciate that they're doing them at all since nobody else has taken them on. Been waiting on these for years, can't model CN or CP from 1970 onward without these ubiquitous cars. The price really does suck, though

This may be a good place to do some creative swapping, as I would really like to have 2-3 CP, 2-3 CV and a DWP.

For me, 6 CN, 6 CV, 6 DWP, 6 CP. When they do the next release, I'll likely buy more. You can get them as individual cars from dealers that will break a six pack (I'm sure many will if they have to), but the per car cost would go up.

Anyone have a proto shot of roof trusses being shipped by rail like this?  Every truss I've ever ordered was manufactured within 50 miles of the jobsite, they're pretty lightweight, and aside from a very few large commercial applications that needed a wide load permit, they almost always run over the road. 

Plus, once at the jobsite, they're frequently craned right from the truck, or the dump site behind the truck, and installed on the building.

Looks like another MT prize winner.  Not that I'm bashing or anything.  And it is an interesting looking load, sort of like those old Bachmann cars with the nuclear missiles aboard.

Though in on a railroad site , only assessable by rails , might have the final leg of the truss assembly shipped that way . Stretching reality perhaps , but so are the couplers .

Can't say I've ever seen a buildin site that's only accessable by rail... and I've been in many a part of ByGod, WV on NS...
