Not affiliated with the seller, but this is something that should have special appeal for Railwire members...

Not a bad price so far, but only a few hours left, and lots of watchers.  Could one of them be you?

150 detail parts went for $81...  Even if there's a lot of dreck in there, that's still a good deal.  The binder idea is pretty good, too for organizing and storing them.  Much better than my "piling" system...

What's the big deal with the bid history?

It's the same guy who never got outbid.  Here's a guy I can respect.  He actually bid what he was willing to pay instead of bidding 'almost' as high as he was willing to go and then bitch about getting outbid at the end.

I'll take some of that back because he probably raised his max bid once it got to $140.

Looks like there was a reserve.  He kept bidding until he hit the sellers magic number and then raised it again to make sure nobody beat him after the reserve disappeared from the auction. Once the auction has hit the reserve, all indications that a reserve was entered disappears vice the old system that showed "reserve met."

There was no reserve when it started. I bookmarked it within a few minutes of being listed. It looks like the seller went back and edited a reserve on it. I hadn't looked at it again till last night when I saw what it went for and the same person bid it up and didn't catch the reserve met notice.

The really sad thing is, two other sets have sold in the past week for 60-80.

It seems like it would be cheaper to build a time machine.....

Best wishes, Dave
If you lend someone $20, and never see that person again, it was probably worth it.

I do think that's the most I've ever seen a slide go for.....

There's a couple postcards I've been looking for that keep hitting that altitude, and I bail out much lower!
