I like the fact that they did the prewar Southern Pacific Lines lettering on the tender. If this model was to represent the Wartime Blackout Scheme it should have the cone-shaped blackout shield over the headlight that locomotives operating on the West and Northwest Pacific coasts had . Personally I like the black locomotives with the skirting removed better,like they were after the war or like the War Baby Gs 6 locos and the six that went to WP which Con Cor modeled including the single headlight on their WP loco and found on SP Gs 6's .
