Lehigh and Hudson River - getting closer...

i haven't sold my wife on this, but i think i can... it requires replacing our current CRT TV with a flat panel LCD above the unused fireplace (something she really wants to do).  this would allow me to expand into the family room a foot and have a 42" branch to the zinc mine at Ogdensburg.

of course this lacks staging, but it's getting closer to being a decent representation of the L&HR in 1967!  the Franklin commercial track was used to set out MTY zinc hoppers from the through freights for the local to handle.  it would head west from Warwick and pickup and setout along the way to Hudson yard.  it would work the zinc mine, the limestone mill, and a few other line side customers.

i know, no staging...

in looking at this, i think i could omit the Harris Pine Mill and have that track drop down to a staging track under the wall with Gamma and Lime Crest.  i "might" be able to put a reverse loop under there as well if i widen things a bit.

Hey got any links to photos of the Zinc Mine?  Just curious since I have not seen one.
