Well, I'm sure that the term "modern" is relative. For me, anything built after the 60s is modern.

Sounds to me like the Chinese, or possibly Ajin in Korea, have decided to "cut out the middleman". Yes, we live in interesting times, alright.

Gregg, I don't think so - the western/SP fans over at Trainorders all know exactly who this is - and are not telling - it's supposedly someone who worked with Cannon and then went on to other projects.

Some guys on the MFCL group apparently know who it is, too.  They confirmed that it's NOT Fred Becker, (sp?) which was the initial concern.

The ad implies that the models will be ready for purchase when the website is live.  If so, good for them.
