So those are the reason I picked 85... I'd be broke.

Wow, they did a great job getting the ride height correct.  Also, they should be commended for engineering a coupler solution and not just using the MT long shanks.

Thanks for posting these - they look pretty nice!

But what's up with the gap at the end near the roof?

Mark: The roofs are removable. I'm sure that the one in the picture is just not sitting correctly.

The roof is a seperate piece. It seems to be riding up slightly at one end. The GTW and CR I took pics of at the shop have the same gap. I pushed it down but may need a dab of glue to hold it in place.

These are awfully nice cars. The printing is sharp, ride height correct. The coupler solution will go thru an 11" radius curve and a #4 switch.

Cars were also used in Appliance service and Kellogg's used some to ship cereal.

Hey Guys

I took mine home yesterday and gave them "the test"

On Atlas code 55 track, they went through #4's with no problems.
The trip pins do hang low, just like the RC Autoracks.
I had one car that got stuck on a frog, but it was an easy fix.

I pulled them in the front of a 50 car train and had no derailments.
So I'd say that the weight is fine on the car.

These cars rock, and I can't wait for more.

Thanx

Sweeeeeeet.

I've got a half-dozen of these on pre-order with BLW since my LHS claims Bluford Shops (and Trainworx for that matter) doesn't exist.  I swear, they lament the lack of N Scale sales, but then when you want to give them $250 worth of freight car sales they don't want to figure out what it takes to fulfill the order.  Anyways, time to see how well BLW comes through on their pre-orders...
