Maybe this is old news, but I just got a Walthers E-update Newsletter and the PS 10-6 sleepers are due in June 10.

No, they are not new as far as news goes, they've been put off for more than a year, having been first advertised about two years ago.  If the model actually looks as good as the images on the ads they we will have reason to be proud!!!

Looking forward to these - the 10-6 was such a popular model in it's day and the model looks not too hard to make minor modifications to.... gotta love the ex US road Canadian Nationals......they scream "1967"......
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

I've had 3 on order for awhile.  They are painted and stripped, etc but you put your own number or name on the cars - they are suppose to come with the cars.

I don't know passenger equipment well at all, so I gotta ask... do these cars have matching window patterns on both sides? I don't mean mirror image I mean A end to B end are duplicate across the width of the car?
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

Not usually. A 10 and 6 has ten roomettes with a center corridor, so the windows are the same on each side on this part of the car. it also has 6 bedrooms with a corridor along one side. The windows don't usually match on both sides. But, there are three different arrangements of 10 and 6's, bedrooms at one end, bedrooms at both ends, and bedrooms in the middle. See the current Classic Trains, it shows window arrangements.
