Saskatchewan grain car

I know PWRS or NARC or whatever it calls itself is not a popular "manufacturer" in some parts and I have no intention of making this a topic about sniping at it, but I was wondering if anyone had noticed NARC/PWRS's recent ad in N Scale Magazine featuring the Saskatchewan cylindrical covered hoppers? Part of the text in the ad reads -

"Phase 6" 4550 cu. ft. hopper by Hawker-Siddeley Canada
New Model Tooling from Builder Blueprints - Never Before Available to Modelers!!!!

So, unless I don't speak Canadian very well, this means this is a brand new body style in N, as well as being an overly exclusive licensing situation? And, unless I'm additionally mistaken, this was never brought to light before? 

In some way, it's a reason to celebrate, if it is a new car style. Although, given the pricing of this example, I probably won't even be able to afford the undecs.

Actually it was beat to death on both HO & N over on the A-Board. Unless I was reading Dan's posts wrong, those facts were discussed, shredded and baucked.

Bob, are you sure about that? I skimmed pretty thoroughly through the entire A-Board thread, and didn't see a single mention of the fact that this car was supposed to be a brand new car style for N. Which, of course, was the main point of me posting this. But then again, maybe I am loosing my knack for communicating succinctly.

It was mentioned when the car was originally announced, and the NARC website lists the major differences between the IMRC model and the one they intend to make.

It will be good to have another freight car, but there are other Canadian cars which I think would make more sense - and more easily distinguishable from existing models:

 - newsprint boxcars
 - those shorter cylindical cars used for denser materials
 - those very short cylindrical cars which are aluminum or some other unpainted
    material for chlorate or whatever.

The first type's been done in HO by Life-Like, and now re-run by walthers, and just waiting to be also done in N.

Good luck on the Hawker-Siddeley one represented by that CP car, since only they (and some second-hand cars to QGRY) and PGE (later British Columbia Rwy.) had them. 

CN (and CV, DWP), CP, PGE/BCR, MD&W all had versions of the NSC car.
