Athearn exterior post trailers

Really cool to see some of these older style trailers I just ordered some of the Chessie and Southern
fruehoffs and now some cool exterior post trailers I'm definatley getting the EL and PC and Reading sets.
My layout is set in the late 70's early 80's and these will fit in well. It is nice to see Athearn picking it up with N again. I'm definatley getting all 3 B&O PS hoppers when they come out also.

I'm simply amazed at this sudden "burst" of N scale products from Athearn. As much as I want to urge them further and quicker towards the finish line, I do hope they pace themselves. Don't want to hurt yourself there.

I have a feeling this was stuff that was sidlined in order to get the Challenger and Big Boy in production faster.

I'm not amazed (I am sort of relieved, as Athearn was starting to look like "Athearn Pacific") but I am pleased.

I hope they listened to me and do a better job on the lettering on the new covered hopper. That said the tooling is nice on the previous PS hopper they did and I'm looking forward to the 2600s. The McHenry couplers should be interesting too.

The trailers are cool!  The vehicles are Athearn's strong point in my little N world (I won't touch their locos yet).
