As much as I really want this model to happen - and it seems like only weeks ago I had started a thread publicly asking Athearn to release them in N and e-pestered them directly as well - it hasn't been announced on the Athearn's website, which is the logical first place, so I don't believe it and refuse to get my hopes up.

sirenworks, I know, but things ALWAYS go up on Horizon Hobby first.

Could be of value... though rarely used now (mostly in MofW service) these cars were a key part of railroading from the 60s through to the 90s, hauling things like sand and other heavy commodities.

Unless I am mistaken, CSX is still running these cars in cement service.
