New Yuengling Brewery in Pt. Carbon, PA

The price of gas has me sitting on my keister not doing some of the field research I'd like to be. One of the projects I have in mind is getting some decent photos of the new Yuengling brewery in Pt. Carbon, which I spied on a trip through the area during the Xmas season. Couldn't stop then because I was on a tight schedule. It's a nicely scaled industry and I managed to pull some photos of it from the Reading & Northern web site (at the bottom of http://www.readingnorthern.com/photos.shtml) and a blurry map image as well. I was wondering if anyone has any shots of it or any info on it. I'm still trying to figure out what the outside of the structure is constructed of. I think it's a formed concrete panel construction, but it looks unlike anything I've seen before. If anyone can help, I'd appreciate it. Can't wait until gas prices go back down...

I would try looking on Windows Live Maps (maps.live.com) and see if they offer their "Bird's Eye" view of the area...that might give you a better idea of what the sides are constructed of.

As far as gas prices dropping...I'm not holding my breath.  >

I've seen those cars headed east at the Curve on numerous occasions... Now I know where they're going!

Cool...  Breweries are cool...  When I get around to building Cumberland, I'm including the Old German brewery, which stood just up stream from the Cumberland depot.  Big old stack of bricks, the brewhouse was maybe 8 or 10 stories tall...

Even though I brew my own beer now, I still buy yuengling.

Unfortunately, Maps.Live considers Pt. Carbon PA the sticks, and does not offer this option. It's actually pretty frustrating, as it's the same for Hagerstown MD and Winchester VA, two places where a host of industries are that I'd like that option for. But I like the new Yuengling brewery (built in '03) because it's fairly compact and does not have to be a layout unto itself, like the Coors plant in Golden CO or the Milwaukee-based ones featured by Walthbach.

I agree it looks like formed concrete panels, but am scratching my head about the texture for some reason/mental block. Is it a pebbly texture framed by a flat area? I'm hoping that "aha" moment will hit any minute, but for now...

a-ha moment on how to model it or that it is in fact  a concrete panel?  i see plenty of warehouse's made of concrete panels with designs or textures in them.
