I can't get a trailing truck for a LL 2-8-4 from Walthers, they say I have to buy a whole locomotive.

Wa -a-a-a-! I wonder if the trailing truck from the Old Rivarossi / Con Cor version if these locos would be any good? The locos are found fairly cheaply at Swaparamas ,check Con Cor's spair parts dept. to see if they even have this part. Just a suggestion. Sorry I don't have any of these engines any more, or I would let one go for a parts source. I replaced em with two of the now Walthers then Life Like locos a C&O and an NKP.  Nate Goodman (Nato). Salt Lake, Utah.

Check with Con-Cor for the trailing truck from the SP GS-4 and GN S-2. The NS's "vest-pocket Berkshires" trailing truck had a shorter wheelbase than the standard Van Schweringen Berkshires, more like the ones from the above two models.
