Erie Railroad operator Cal Banse took his camera to work and on excursions in eastern Ohio, western Pennsylvania and elsewhere in the steel and coal country. Cal was photographing the railroad scene from the end of steam to the introduction of second generation diesels in a territory known for its heavy industry. All color.

Delmarva?  There hasn't been a book on about Delmarva in 30 years!  I wonder if there's much coverage of the Cambridge branch?

Speaking of Morning Sun books the just released Trackside with "Mr. Alco" George W. Hockaday
by Jim Odell and Len Kilian is a nice book and not quite like the other trackside books as its not based on a location but a locomotive type.

Jim Odell, one of the authors, frequented the LHS and we were all shocked and surprised by his recent passing. He was rather active with the Bridge Line Society the Delaware and Hudson Railroad historical society.

It's been fun trying to track down some of the harder to find, long out of print titles.  I've had good luck on ebay and here http://www.bookfinder.com  Of the 56 Rio Grande books I have, at least 50 of them are pictorials.  Lots of eye candy.  I'd say 20 are narrow gauge exclusively, 25 or so are standard gauge exclusively and 10 or so, are both.
