The monthly "What'll be announced for next month" topic??

No one has made any attempt to speculate what might be announced for June 2007 by any of the model manufacturers or importers on this forum or on the Atlas one either.

Is it possible there's so much in the pipeline that we're all sated?  ???

C'mon folks, this Friday's the first!  :P ;D

Hoping for a NW2 in  PRR colors.  Hell will probably freeze over before I get any Baldwin road switchers.  Also would like a PRR I-1 in plastic but and still waiting for the M-1 (it seems like forever).

Summer reruns
maybe a bone or two in new paint schemes.  No new tooling anytime soon except from the smaller manufacturers.  Another long dark summer...

We know more challengers from Athearn are coming like a nice Greyhound Two Tone Gray passenger locomotive with smoke deflectors, and a coal burning freight loco in black. Hopefully they will be june Releases but who knows?  Nate Goodman(Nato). Salt Lake, Utah.

I'm hopin' for Atlas to release a late phase GP38-2, an Int'l bay window caboose with working lights and an interior, and a contemporary flat roof 50' box car with interchangable ends, doors, and, while we're at it, roofs. Some larger capacity funnel flows would be nice too.

At Atlas "Late" 38-2 would be killer, but with the LL one being "close", I doubt it'll happen.

But oh how I wish it would.

I have a speculative thread on A board... was worried that it was a taboo thread  ;D

I'd like to see me win the Lottery (very well deserved if you ask me), so I could afford all the stuff that's getting produced. Besides that, modern LPG tankers, modern plastic pellet covered hoppers, GP40-2L(W)'s, Kato SD75I's/SD70M-2's/ES44AC & DC, some of those new National Steel Car covered hoppers that look alot like the Trinity 5161's, but aren't really close. I'll stop here... it could get to be a long list.

Every time such a topic comes up it seems to blur the distinction between what "you think will be announced" versus "your personal wish list"!  8)

I could make a wish list a mile long. However, what I think could be announced would be much shorter...

* The Kato NW2 in PRR.
* The second lightweight passenger car from Walthers (for delivery a year from now).
* The next passenger train set from Kato (probably PRR Broadway Limited w/GG1).

Do you suppose the Delaware car was delayed for the Yukon car? Or is it that no one cares about Delaware, except for highly paid IT people?

Since Atlas was annoyed when I brought this up over there, why do you think there have been THREE new HO scale freight cars introduced in the past 2 months - and none in N.  And by the way, they have also informally introduced a 4th...

20k Tank, Plastic Pellet Car, Thrall Gon and 89' flat....

Lou, admit it, you know that Atlas routine, so give it up! Let the nit picky HO guys pick the models apart so everything can be fixed for Nscale. In the mean time, go work on that span of track that has a half of bridge attached to it on your layout...
