I can't wait to see how well these pull. I'm interested in what sort of proto-specific detail they mean. Walthers was always pretty good at doing proto speciffic detail (I think there was 4 versions of the bay window cab). It is nice to see they have not given up on us.

I really want to see what type of new tooling they have for the GP18. I have heard rumors (and rumors only... nothing as solid as my last anouncment) that these will feature new fans... so they may also stand in as PIII GP9s. Pretty cool if you ask me.

Likelike was good in HO - they released road proper versions of the Berk in HO (but not in N!  >:().

I'm hoping that they'll really mean it on the road specific in future runs of that loco (and all their locos) - I would buy a correct version of the VGN Berk with the correct tender, but I don't want to have to kitbash it.

There are multiple versions of the tender in HO, hopefully they won't screw N this time.

I like the HO undec version to be done that way in N . That has the clear view tender you see on the Erie and graphited smoke and fire box . I am not going to place a reserve order till Walthers shows it as such .

This is the HO version I want to see in N

I wonder if we can buy those tenders and or parts via the replacement parts sheet . They sound like a Kato alternate , what with the all wheel pick up .
